About Blameless Toons
Short, dry cartoons about working in tech. The joke is on the system, never the person.
We make short, dry, daily cartoons about working in tech: outages at 3am, legacy systems, meetings that should have been emails, and vendors who promise everything. The joke is always on the system, never on the person — hence the name: in a blameless postmortem, nobody gets blamed.
Our cartoons are written for people who work in and around tech, including ADHD and autistic adults. Our characters' hyperfocus, precision and pattern-spotting are strengths, and they usually save the day.
Accessibility
- Every episode has captions (on by default here), a downloadable caption file, and a full transcript on its page.
- No flashing or strobing: every episode passes an automated flash test before it's published.
- No sudden loud sounds: audio is levelled to a consistent loudness and music always sits well under the dialogue.
- The same predictable structure every day: cold open, title, three short acts, and a teaser for tomorrow.
- This site follows WCAG 2.2 AA, works with a keyboard and screen readers, respects your light/dark and reduced-motion settings, and never autoplays video.

How it's made
Made with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publishing. Voices are synthetic (text-to-speech). Characters, stories, designs and music are all original; the music is composed by our own software, so it's ours outright.
